BOREDOM KILLS?

It's 9:45 in the morning and i'm starting to get bored. My bosses are out of town, and I think everyone's busy except me! It's not really my fault that I get my job done easily than others, right? (smug, much?) LOL. Don't get me wrong, I like my job, and maybe I just happen to work at a fast pace that's why I end up getting the tasks I need to do faster.

My boyfriend wakes up so late in the morning, like 11 or 12 and I'm stuck staring at my laptop trying so hard to look busy. So here's the deal.. I would just like to ask for help from anyone who reads this. Can you give me web sites that I can surf to ease my boredom here in the office? Please note that we're not allowed to surf sites like Youtube, Facebook, etc., so they're out of the question already.

Gosh, can anyone save me from dying of boredom???

Working Girl

So here's the catch: I started working in the HR Department of a bank last October 27,2009. I work from 8-5 but usually it stretches to 5:30 or 5:45. Here are some of my trivial, sometimes funny realizations:

- leaving the office at 5:00 raises a lot of eyebrows.
- I finish all my tasks right away and I am left to do... nothing.
- i'm now learning the art of looking busy (LOL)
- I actually googled “how to look busy in the office” and found rather interesting and helpful articles about it
- i'm getting used to wearing corporate attires although my footsies are still killing me sometimes (stilletos much?)
- when my boss gets in his “Obsessive Compulsive” mode, I try so hard not to punch him in the face. I mean, its already 15 minutes past 5 and he keeps on correcting an email down to puctuation marks, capitalization of letters, etc. Get a life! GRR!
- time passes a bit fast working in an 8-5 shift. Not like my previous job (which was 9:30-6:30) which felt like FOREVER.

all in all, I seem to like my workplace and the work that I'm doing (so far). I'm still crossing my fingers though, I don't want to go through the process of job hunting again. Hope I'll like my work enough for me to stay. You know me, fickle fickle fickle.

everytime i get so busy or caught up with things, i forget to blog!

for a scatterbrain and a dreamer like me.. oh no..

anyway.
just to give you readers an update of what's in my world right now:

*i'm now working! again! in an office. *crossing my fingers that I'll stay long in this job* my new job seems like a good one though. I'm in charge for the training of employees so i guess it wouldn't be so boring, right?

*my lovely shih tzu is already 3months old!She's so cute!

*Just had a two day breather at the beach. Well, it's not actually a breather coz me and my officemates were there to conduct a planning session for 2010, but we're at the beach for goodness sakes!

*i am now an official and true blue Twilight addict. Edward Cullen? Love him to bits! Robert Pattinson? Not so much. *blush*

*i now have to get rid of my jeans and shirts coz i have to wear corporate attires every time i go to the office (which would mean 5x a week). my closet isn't much help and i find myself shopping every now and then for *gasp* corporate attires. i don't really mind though - wearing them makes me look and feel "spiffy" LOL.

So, i guess that's it.
I'll write here as soon as i can :)

Musings of a Muse

Whew! it's been so long since i last posted a blog.. i have just been wandering around like a cloud, uncertain, yet happy.

my mind is in real jumbles right now. i missed blogging. a lot.
kinda made me realize that somehow, i can organize my thoughts and put my fears and worries to rest when i put them into words.

and here's some of my random thoughts, musings, things to do, and other what-have-i-been-up-to news.

- i've been participating in our local night market during weekends. me and my best friend are selling clothes and accessories :) business is doing quite well.. hope this will flourish (move over Donald Trump? lol)

- i now have a baby! :) her name's Sugem and she's really very cute. she makes me wake up in the middle of the night sometimes, but overall, she's super adorable! she's a Shih tzu pup by the way ;)

- i'm now looking for a new job.. this time, i want a serious job. (gasp, is this really me talking?) well, i just realized that although living the life of a bum is very enjoyable, its quite difficult to keep on asking my folks for money.. i might just have to find a job first, and when i've saved up enough money, i can stop working and just be an entrepreneur. yeah? ^o^

- i have a part-time job as a tutor for a Korean family. i've always been fascinated with Korean movies and series, and i'm kinda excited to meet and greet authentic Koreans. lol. I'll be starting on Wednesday so wish me luck!

Things I need to do:

1. learn how to drive
2. have my Sony Ericsson mobile phone repaired
3. land a great-paying, fulfilling job.

-not in a hurry to find a job though coz my puppy's still a baby, she's going to be two months this Sept 19 and it would be heartbreaking for me to leave her at home for the whole day. Maybe in God's time, everything will fall into place. :)
